Integrated Ultrasound Education (Integrated) was founded in 2010 to provide effective ultrasound training and solutions for health professionals, clinicians and radiology businesses, along with providing staffing resources and education to rural and remote communities of Australia.

Integrated has forged a successful reputation through its team of quality, diverse, highly experienced senior sonographers and tutors.

Our team is passionate about all aspects of education, as well as offering patients a comprehensive, up-to-date and enjoyable diagnostic examination service.

Integrated are passionate about the advanced technologies that are continually emerging in the ultrasound world and the fantastic applications, and want to introduce the use of these technologies to sonographers/trainee sonographers, clinician’s and allied health professionals.

Gail has been working as a Sonographer for over 15 years’, in Australia, United Kingdom, and South East Asia.

She has experience working in both small private ultrasound clinics along with large tertiary hospitals.

Gail has extensive experience working as a Tutor Sonographer, having been the tutor for the Western Australia Country Health Service (WACHS), along with being involved in the education and training of Sonographers, Trainee Sonographers, Physiotherapists (MSK/Women Health/Paediatric), Emergency and Respiratory Physicians, Radiology Registrars and Midwives.

Gail is proficient in developing sonographic training programs, assessing and remodelling existing programs, along with collating educational material and organising educational events.

Gail along with being a director of IUE, actively works as a Tutor Sonographer; along with scanning at various sites in Perth and rural Western Australia.

She is an active committee member of the Australian Sonographers Association (ASA) in Western Australia, having held the chairpersons roll for 5 years. Gail also worked a co-convenor for the ASA 2015 National Conference held in Perth in 2015.

Narelle, Director

Narelle Morin

Director

Narelle has more than 15 years’ professional scanning experience, working in both the public and private sectors of Western Australia.

Her extensive tutoring expertise has been established through roles with one of the state’s largest private practices, Notre Dame University; Fremantle, and various private and public sites.

Narelle has worked in the corporate sector as an applications specialist for Siemens Healthcare, in both Western Australia and South Australia.

Narelle along with being a director of IUE; has most recently been focused on the tutoring of Sonographers, Trainee Sonographers, Medical Students at the University of Notre Dame; Rheumatologists in assisting them obtain CCPU accreditation in Musculoskeletal Imaging; Physiotherapists, General practitioners and Emergency Physicians.

Narelle currently scans in various private practices, including a dedicated Tertiary Obstetric Clinic within Perth; as well as in rural centres in Western Australia.

She has spoken at local and national conferences.

Calum Grimwood

Calum is an experienced Sonographer, having completed ultrasound training with one of Western Australia’s largest leading private practices.

He has worked professionally in both hospital and community branch clinics throughout the Perth metropolitan and Peel regions giving him expert experience in general, obstetric and gynaecology, paediatric, small parts, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Calum is passionate about employing innovative teaching methods to supplement current and prospective sonographers learning in clinical practice.

Alison, Tutor

Alison Stock

Senior Tutor Sonographer

Alison has over 20 years’ sonography experience working across Australia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom.

She worked as Tutor Sonographer for WA Country Health Service (WACHS); teaching trainee sonographers, as well as teaching General Practitioners, Midwives and Obstetricians in remote areas of Western Australia.

Alison has worked as the Charge Sonographer at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH); Perth, training Trainee Sonographers and Radiology Registrars in ultrasound. She was also involved in training other doctors (ED and Respiratory Physicians) and developing a dedicated Trainee Sonographer training programme. She oversaw the introduction of NATA accreditation into the department and was closely involved with the transplant team working in the assessment of complex transplant (Liver and Kidney) cases.

She currently works with Integrated as a tutor sonographer along with working in both rural and remote locations across Western Australia; and at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH).

Alison has spoken at local and national professional organisation meetings on a number of topics. This extensive experience makes her a valuable asset to the Integrated team.

Venissa, Tutor

Venissa Seet

Senior Tutor Sonographer

Experienced Senior Sonographer, having worked in both large and small private practises across Perth, along with tertiary hospitals and rural and remote locations in Western Australia.  Here she gained extensive experience in training student Sonographers, and Physiotherapists, with a focus on musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Venissa has a special interest in paediatric sonography having worked at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH).  Here she assisted in the training of fellow sonographers along with Radiology Registrars.

Venissa is a very experienced Tutor Sonographer, having a calm and understanding demeanour with a wide skill set and competency level.  Venissa is a huge asset to Integrated tutoring team.

Sam is an accredited Medical Sonographer with over 18 years’ experience, having worked in both small remote practises and advanced tertiary hospitals both in Western Australia and Queensland.

Sam has extensive tertiary obstetric and gynaecological experience, most recently working with a Senior Fetal Medicine Consultant in Perth; Western Australia.

Sam is passionate about education and training for Sonographers and Allied Health professionals.  Having taught at Curtin University; Western Australia, along with the teaching of Emergency Registrars/Consultants; Obstetric and Gynaecological Registrars/Consultants and GP Obstetricians.

Experienced Senior Sonographer, having worked in multiple tertiary hospitals across Perth and smaller rural and remote centres across Western Australia.

Carly has extensive experience in working with the Indigenous and culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities.

Carly is a dedicated Tutor Sonographer, having experience educating trainee sonographers, medical registrars and other Allied Health Professionals.

Carly is an actively involved committee member of the Australian Sonographers Association (ASA) Perth Branch.

Charlene Taylor

Charlene is an experienced Senior Sonographer, having worked in a variety of clinical settings including major tertiary hospitals, private hospitals and community ultrasound clinics performing a variety of ultrasound procedures.

From this has come a broad range of experience and expertise, in a range of areas including; general, obstetrics, fertility, paediatrics, vascular, musculoskeletal, small parts and interventional procedures.

Along with performing roles as a Senior Sonographer and Tutor Sonographer, Charlene works as a senior Medical Imaging Technologist in angiography/cath lab and as a casual Clinical Academic.

Charlene is one of our newer members to the Integrated team and enjoys sharing the challenge and excitement the ultrasound learning experience brings.
